If you don't understand why this is important, imagine a road-block set up to make sure no one enters your neighborhood with a gun, followed by HOUSE BY HOUSE SEARCH AND SEIZURE of all guns.
BTW, they apparently didn't care if you had properly purchased a gun elsewhere, the "powers that be" in the District of Columbia said "You can't have a gun. Not at home unless it is dismantled." Home-owners were supposed to reassemble their guns whist the Bad Guys were breaking the door down.
I'm agreeing with the VCDL on this one. This is a good ruling.
